Privacy policy
Last updated: 23 June 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Piscada AS collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit our website or submit an inquiry through our contact form. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Norwegian law.
1. Who we are
Piscada AS ("Piscada", "we", "us", "our") is a technology company registered in Norway. We are the Data Controller for personal data collected through this website.
Contact: contact@piscada.com
Address: Ranheimsvegen 9, 7044 Trondheim, Norway
2. What data we collect
When you use the contact form on this website we collect:
• First name and last name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Company name
• Information about your inquiry (intent, products of interest, portfolio size)
When you visit our website we automatically collect:
• Anonymised page visit data via Plausible Analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal identifiers stored)
3. Why we collect it and our legal basis
Contact form data is processed to respond to your inquiry and, if relevant, to follow up as part of our sales process. Our legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) — specifically our interest in responding to inbound business enquiries.
Website analytics are collected to understand how visitors use our site and to improve it. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. No consent is required for this processing.
4. How long we keep your data
Contact form data is retained for as long as necessary to manage your inquiry and any resulting business relationship, and no longer than 3 years after our last interaction unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Anonymised analytics data is retained indefinitely as it contains no personal information.
5. Who we share data with
We may share your contact form data with:
• Attio (CRM) — used to manage and follow up on inquiries. Attio acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement. Data may be stored on servers in the EU or US (under EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
6. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Plausible Analytics, our web analytics tool, is cookieless by design.
We may use strictly necessary cookies for website functionality (e.g. session management). These do not require your consent.
7. Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.no)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@piscada.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
