GENERAL
This privacy statement shows our guidelines and describes what information we collect about our customers, as well as visitors to our website. This includes how and why we collect and use the information, as well as how we safeguard our customers’ rights and the rules in the privacy legislation. Collection, storage, compilation, disclosure and other processing of personal data is regulated in the Norwegian Personal Data Act, and GDPR.   The Norwegian Personal Data Act has strict requirements for confidentiality and security in the processing of personal data. The Norwegian Data Protection Authority supervises the law. Personal information is information can be linked to an actual person, eg. name, address and email address.  

DATA CONTROLLER
Piscada is data controller for the company’s personal data, who determines the purpose of the processing of personal data and tools to be used. The data controller is responsible for processing of personal data in accordance with the law.  

TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA
Piscada stores contact information (name, phone number and email address). We also store email and other written information, including feedback, customer service and similar correspondence.   If you agree to receive our newsletters, updates, activities and similar we will also store this information.   Depending on which cloud platform is used, we can also store information about the use of technical equipment, devices, internet connection, positions and other registered by our software, measuring tools and technical logs.  

PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
Person data stores by Piscada is primarily used to manage your customer relationship. This includes invoices and communication with you in connection with your customer relationship to provide necessary help and useful information. The information also enables us to adapt and improve our service offerings and communication with you as a customer.   Information that is automatically registered contributes to ensuring that the services function the way they should and keep the quality they should have. This also means that we can proactively solve technical issues before the arise, minimizing the risk of error. Information also enables us to provide you with the best possible user experience on various technical devices and screen configurations.  

DURATION
We only store personal data as long as necessary for the purposes described or to meet certain legal requirements. This implies that the time data is stored may vary. Invoice information must be stored for at least 5 years. Contact information is stored when you have an active relationship with us, and a certain period should you enter a new active relationship with us. Other types of information such as emails and dialogue with customer service may be stored in shorter period.
 
SHARING OF INFORMATION
Third parties who perform services on our behalf and assist us in business operations and providing services may access relevant information. Then apply the same purposes as described above.
 
We enter written agreements with third parties we share information and make clear demands to comply with privacy legislation and requirements for information security.
       
INFORMATION PROTECTION
We work systematically to maintain high level of information security. This includes technical and organizational security measures to protect stored personal information from unauthorized access and use. This also applies to third parties if we share personal information with them.
 
In the event of any reorganization, sale or other transfer of assets, information is transferred, provided that the recipient agrees to use personal information in a manner consistent with this privacy statement.
       
INFORMATION COOKIES AND IMAGE TRACKERS
When you visit our website, we automatically register cookies. In some cases, tracking images are also used. Information cookies are small data files stored on your device while browsing and using internet sites and services. A tracking image is a hidden image placed on some web pages.
 
We use cookies to measure traffic on our website, duration of the stay and how visitors navigate. The main purpose is to secure and improve the performance of the site. Tracking images can be used for similar purposes.
